clarity by design.

Kia ora, I am Eduardo Canha, a Brazilian born designer in Aotearoa New Zealand. Curiosity has always been part of who I am, and it helps me focus on what counts.  I listen first, ask clear questions, and turn that into work people can trust and use.

Travel and photography taught me to look. The northern lights in Iceland, sunset from the top of the Eiffel Tower,  long hours in a kayak along the Abel Tasman coast. They taught me to notice what matters.

I see design in small, quiet things. A leaf resting on still water. A rainbow after a sudden shower. Evening colour on a quiet beach. I bring that same calm into the work so you can find what you need.

Selected work

Here you’ll find selected work from my portfolio: campaigns, publications and  digital design. They are different in format, but all share the same focus on clarity and trust.

Case study

HansaWorld website redesign

We partnered with the marketing team and leadership to align goals, audience language, and how we would measure success. The aim was to make understanding faster and action easier across the site. Scope covered the homepage, key product pages, pricing, resources, global navigation, and the enquiry path.

Discovery moved into structure and design. I ran stakeholder interviews, reviewed analytics, and audited content. From that we set the information architecture, simplified the menu, and wrote a short content strategy with one idea per section and a clear primary action. I created low fidelity wireframes for the core templates, refined them in working sessions, then moved to high fidelity interfaces with a readable type scale, a tidy grid, and colour used to guide. Interactive prototypes were shared on desktop and mobile so teams could feel the pace of each journey.

We validated with task based tests and iterated on labels, hierarchy, spacing, and the placement of proof and calls to action. We checked colour contrast against accessibility guidelines, kept keyboard focus visible, and sized touch targets for comfort. A small component library supported a consistent build in the CMS. The result is a site that tells one coherent story and reduces effort on the path to enquiry. Post launch we saw stronger engagement and an uplift in qualified enquiries.

Through my lens

These images come from projects, journeys, and everyday walks. They are fragments gathered along the way, pieces of how I experience the world.
